Really BIG Raffle drawing to be held July 11

A winner for the North Idaho College Foundation’s Really BIG Raffle grand prize $250,000 grand prize home will be selected on July 11. The college’s largest fundraiser still has several hundred tickets available and organizers are reaching out for community support to sell the remaining tickets prior to the drawing. While the break-even point has been reached, the remaining tickets provide the proceeds necessary to support crucial student and technology needs at NIC through the NIC Foundation.

Fewer than 400 tickets are still available. A total of 5,000 are sold at $100 each.

Ticket holders and community members are invited to attend the Really BIG Raffle drawing at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 in Fort Sherman Park on NIC’s main campus. The event will include live music, concessions and various door prize giveaways. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and join in the excitement of more than $285,000 in prizes being given away.

Ticket holders need not be present to win the $250,000 grand prize Coeur d’Alene home, the first prize $20,000 car, a second prize $10,000 boat, a third prize $3,500 travel package, fourth prize $2,000 shopping spree or early bird prizes.

Ticket holders must bring the bonus prize entry, which is on the end of each raffle ticket stub, to the event to enter to win bonus prizes including a Wolf Lodge Steakhouse $100 gift card, Silverwood Theme Park Passes, a Kindle Fire and a patio fire pit.

Entry for door prizes and the bonus prize begins at 5 p.m. and all entries must be entered by 7 p.m. to be eligible.
