The wellness workshop "Extraordinary Health - New Year's Nutrition" will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 in the SUB Lake Coeur d'Alene Room. Discover how foods affect our bodies and how to choose nutritious foods that can turn your health and weight around. Learn about super foods, healthy fats, and combining proteins to crave less sugar, have more energy, and reduce belly fat. Weigh-in times for the NIC wellness Biggest Loser/Weight Maintenance competition will be held through Jan. 18 in the Human Resources office in Sherman Building 108. Weigh-ins will be held from 7:45 to 9 a.m. and from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays. No appointments necessary - just come in to HR. The competition will be held from Jan. 22 to May 3. Prizes will be announced soon.
In January, the Boot Camp/Circuit Series will be spinning, which will be held from 12:05 to 12:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays upstairs in Christianson Gym Room 200. Class will start Jan. 7. Earn $5 for each workout session you attend (up to $100) in your HRA account.
