Graydon Stanley, North Idaho College vice president for student services, will speak to the NIC Booster Club at noon Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the Outback Steakhouse in Coeur d’Alene.
Stanley played four years of college basketball at the College of Idaho and has coached numerous junior high, high school and Amateur Athletic Union basketball, baseball and volleyball teams.
Formerly with the College of Southern Idaho, Stanley began working at NIC in August 2012 after being chosen out of five finalists to replace former NIC Vice President for Student Services Sheldon Nord. He served as CSI’s dean of students from 1984 to 2012, which grew dramatically in student population, programs and facilities under his tenure. He was the public address announcer for CSI basketball games for more than 20 years and came to NIC with a strong knowledge of community colleges and North Idaho athletics.
The NIC Booster Club meets on the second and last Tuesday of the month at noon, typically alternating between the Outback Steakhouse and the Coeur d’Alene Resort. The public is welcome to attend. The cost of lunch is not covered.
