EPA group graduates in Kellogg

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's 2013 Coeur d'Alene Basin Superfund Job Training Initiative held its graduation on May 7 in Kellogg. NIC's Workforce Training Center worked with the EPA to develop the program, which provides training and certification to prospective workers for the cleanup of the Coeur d'Alene Basin Superfund Site. Local experts were hired to train and certify in areas such as Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, flagging, and CPR/first aid.
