FAQ for work session on possible NIC events center
The North Idaho College Board of Trustees will meet in a work session at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 25, in the Community Room of the Coeur d’Alene Public Library. The meeting is open to the public.
Trustees will receive an interim update on the workings and progress of the ad hoc committee assigned to explore the issue of a sports complex construction project.
· There are no scheduled votes.
· The meeting is an informational workshop designed to allow the trustees to hear from and ask questions of the ad hoc committee and its work to date.
· NIC Trustees passed a resolution on Feb. 27, 2013 directing President Joe Dunlap to head an effort to explore the feasibility of a sports complex. An ad hoc committee was seated and has been working on vetting various aspects of any possible construction project.
· A formal report is scheduled to be delivered by the committee to the trustees at their regularly scheduled meeting on Aug. 28, 2013.
