Volunteer tutors needed for NIC Adult Basic Education

Volunteers are needed to assist with North Idaho College’s Adult Basic Education program.

The NIC Adult Education Center, located in the Hedlund Building Room 204 on NIC’s main campus, offers Adult Basic Education, which includes basic skill building in reading, writing, and math.

Volunteers should enjoy working with adult learners and possess good reading, writing or math skills. Volunteers must be available a minimum of two hours per week.

Those interested may contact Adult Basic Education Assessment and Tutor Coordinator Marty Bruner at (208) 665-5069 or stop by the center to complete a tutor application form.
