NIC to offer free safety training at Safety Fest


North Idaho College will offer free safety training at the 6th annual Safety Fest of the Great Northwest Feb. 18 – 20 at the Workforce Training Center in Post Falls.

This event is an opportunity for companies in construction and general industry to receive free safety training for their employees from the area’s best safety instructors. Some of the classes that will be available include Fall Protection, Confined Space Training, CPR/First Aid, Excavation, Distracted Driving and more.

Safety Fest is held in five different cities in Idaho – Boise, Post Falls, Twin Falls, Pocatello and Lewiston – to increase safety awareness while at work.

Registration is available at www.nic.edu/safetyfest. The event is free and open to the public.
