No network Memorial Day weekend

Since NIC network services will be intermittently unavailable on Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25, take this as your opportunity to enjoy the holiday weekend and not log in! All main campus and remote site network services will be intermittently unavailable during an upgrade which will replace the core of campus network connectivity.

During this process, ALL Internet access, college phones and voicemail, the MyNIC portal, the NIC.EDU website, Blackboard Learn, and any other services using NIC username and passwords will be unavailable for use.

While the network is down, first try to call Security at 769-3310. If that number doesn't work, call 699-8405. 

Hopefully the actual downtime of these services will be minimal. Services will be restored as soon as work is completed. For questions or concerns, contact the NIC Help Desk at (208) 769-3280 or helpdesk@nic.edu for more information.
