Dual Credit
Students who are enrolled for dual credit and attend high school and NIC who have disabilities and who would like to request accommodation for their college classes or COMPASS should submit documentation to the Center for Educational Access.
All of the information on this website pertaining to students with disabilities will also pertain in the same way to students who are enrolled for dual credit whether the class is located on the NIC campus or at the high school.
When students are enrolled in at NIC, NIC is responsible to ensure the student receives accommodation. However, how accommodations provided may be different at the post-secondary level than at the high school.
Information can be found on this website that will help to clarify the differences between high school and post-secondary as it pertains to students w/disAbilities.
Please feel free to contact CEA at 769-5947 or the Director of CEA at 769-7794 for more information or to set up an appointment to discuss any questions or concerns.
