What is ASNIC? Pronounced [Az-nik], a.k.a. your student government, ASNIC is committed to representing and serving the students of North Idaho College. Through our leadership we ascertain, present, and resolve student concerns; seek out opportunities for improvement within and without the college; provide resources; and enhance student life and the community around us.
Student government is made up of an eight-member senate elected in the spring. The senate (called the Student Board) is presided over by the ASNIC President. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Student Union Building. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Students who serve on the ASNIC board receive a monthly stipend ($$), leadership training, valuable experience, and a major resume boost! Get Involved. Let your voice be heard!
Resources Provided for All Students: Attorney consultation, scholarships, emergency funds, student handbook and planner. Contact the ASNIC office at (208) 769-7761 for more information.
