If you are certain of your plans and would like to book an equipment rental, we recommend making a reservation. Below are our policies for rentals and reservations:
- Full payment is required to make an equipment reservation or to sign up for a trip
- No charge for pick up and drop off days on rentals longer than one day
- Rental rates are reduced 50% after 5 consecutive days at the regular rate
- Students renting equipment for PE classes are exempt from rental fees, however, are subject to late fees at the normal student rate
- Renters will be charged the daily rental rate for each day equipment is returned late
- Renters will be responsible for the cost of any damaged or lost equipment
- Student rates are for enrolled NIC students only
Rental and Trip Cancellation Policies
Cancellations of $25 or less will be converted to rental or trip credit
Cancellations exceeding $25 are issued within the following parameters:
- Between 30 & 14 days = 25% penalty, 75% refund, or 100% rental or trip credit
- Between 13 & 7 days = 30% penalty, 70% refund, or 100% rental or trip credit
- Between 6 & 2 days = 40% penalty, 60% rental or trip credit
- Less than 2 days = No refund
When making reservations please provide us with accurate information listing the equipment you need to reserve. Last minute changes in equipment may not be possible, so notify us immediately of any changes so we can provide the gear you need for a successful outing.
