NIC, KTEC students take home SkillsUSA Idaho medals

Students from
North Idaho College and Kootenai Technical Education Campus won several medals
in the two SkillsUSA Idaho competitions recently. The Heating Ventilation and
Air Conditioning competition was held at Lewis-Clark State College and the Collision
Repair competition was held at the College of Western Idaho in Nampa.
Jesse Olsen, an NIC student from Bonners Ferry, won a Gold Medal in the HVAC competition.
Matt Etherton, a KTEC student from Post Falls, won a Gold Medal in the Collision Repair competition.
Jake Howland, an NIC student from Bonners Ferry, won a Bronze Medal in the HVAC competition.
Mike Huber, an NIC student from Plummer, won a Bronze Medal in the Collision Repair competition.
With their gold medals, Olsen and Etherton both earned a trip to the SkillsUSA nationals in Louisville, Ky., June 24-28.
