NIC Associate Degree Nursing Program to celebrate 50 years

North Idaho College invites the public to celebrate the Associate Degree Nursing Program’s 50th Anniversary May 11 and 12 at NIC’s main campus in Coeur d’Alene.
NIC nursing students, faculty, alumni and retirees, as well as community members, are invited to several events to celebrate 50 years of nursing excellence at NIC.
Events on Wednesday, May 11 include a social and program at noon in the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room in the Edminster Student Union Building; the Nursing Honor Society Induction at 2:30 p.m. in Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center; and the Pinning Ceremony at 4:30 p.m. at Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center.
Events on Thursday, May 12 include 30-minute guided tours of the Meyer Health and Sciences Building from noon to 3 p.m. and a Coeur d’Alene Lake Cruise from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tickets to the lake cruise are $30 per person, with $5 of each ticket supporting scholarships for NIC nursing students. Tickets are limited, and attendees are asked to register by May 5. Tickets can be purchased at www.nic.edu/give.
