NIC student named Cd'A Rotary Student of the Month

Myers 

North Idaho College student Paul Myers was named the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club Student of the Month for January. 

Myers expects to graduate from NIC in Spring 2023. He is concurrently enrolled in the University of Idaho in elementary education and plans to complete his bachelor’s degree through classes offered in Coeur d’Alene.  

He is currently the president of NIC’s TRIO Club, which aims to help vulnerable, at-risk and marginalized students by providing access to resources and support to help them succeed. 

Myers has tutored math at NIC for more than a year and said he strives to help make NIC a place where struggling students can thrive. He also said that NIC is a special place because staff, faculty and students all look to help each other.
