Pave the Way for Global Accessibility Awareness Day (PWGAAD) - April 19, 2023
Info exhibits on accessibility and universal design solutions being used at North Idaho College (NIC). 2023 marks our fourth year of hosting Pave the Way to Global Accessibility Awareness Day (PWGAAD) on April 19, 2023 from 10AM-2PM.
This is a FREE event that will take place in the Lake Coeur d'Alene room on the second floor of the Edminster Student Union Building at 495 N College Dr, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814 (Short URL: https://goo.gl/maps/V2mBKgwbzwBmdVUJA).
Learn all about the exciting technology available at NIC that help make our campus more accessible, working toward the goal of universal design. By talking with the exhibitors and completing the event passport, you can have a chance at winning some amazing prizes, made possible by some very generous Supporting Partners.

Show up by 1:30PM, talk to the exhibitors, complete the PWGAAD Passport, AND...
- Turn in your entry at the prize table by 1:55PM - 1 drawing entry per person
- Mention one NIC Student Club you are involved in - 1 drawing entry per club
- The NIC Student Club with the greatest number of event attendees - 1 bonus drawing entry for that club
- Exhibitors or Volunteers - 1 automatic drawing entry
- Favorite Exhibit - 1 drawing entry for People's Choice
Volunteers
Anyone who is interested in volunteering can send an email to jeremyDotSedaAtNicDotEdu. Once confirmed, show up at the Lake Coeur d'Alene room on the second floor of the NIC SUB at 9:45AM on Wednesday, 4/19 for a quick briefing and to receive an event shirt/T-Shirt.
Volunteers will receive 1 automatic drawing entry to show our gratitude for their time.
