Replacement Cards

If you lose your Cardinal Card, a replacement card will cost $20.00 and payment will need to be made before a new card is issued. Please visit Cardinal Central in Lee-Kildow hall if you need to replace your card. You can pay the replacement fee on line by clicking here.

Residence Hall Students
Report lost or stolen cards immediately to the Cardinal Card Office. Reported cards will be disabled for facility access and food service so your card cannot be used by others. Replacement cards can be obtained at the Information/Cardinal Card Office for a replacement fee of $20.00.  

All Other Cardinal Cards
If your Cardinal Card has been lost or stolen, report the missing card immediately to Campus Security at (208) 769-3310. Reported cards will be disabled so they cannot be used by others. Replacement cards can be obtained at the Information/Cardinal Card Office for a replacement fee of $20.00.  

Name Changes
If your name has been legally changed, you must go to Cardinal Central in Lee-Kildow Hall and change your name with NIC. Once your name has been officially changed with the Registrar's office, a Cardinal Card  with your new name can be made for you 24 hours later. Go to the Information/Cardinal Card Office and a new Cardinal Card will be issued at no charge. Be sure to bring your picture ID (e.g. Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) with your new name on it.

We Will Contact You
If someone turns your card in to the Cardinal Information office, we will attempt to contact the card owner through their Cardinal email. The Cardinal Information Office holds lost Cardinal Cards for two weeks (14 days) after we've attempted to contact the cardholder. If the card is not picked up within that time, the card is destroyed and the $20 replacement fee must be paid in order to receive another.
