There is no better investment you can make than a career in education. The demand for qualified educators is on the rise and this trend is not likely to change anytime in the near future.

Whether you're interested in working as a professor or elementary school teacher, a special education instructor, or corporate trainer you're sure to find a career in education extremely rewarding.

The Education program at North Idaho College is intended for students who wish to teach in an elementary, middle school, high school, career-technical, STEM, formal or informal education setting. It is strongly recommended that students who plan to teach in this capacity contact their transfer institution as soon as possible regarding specific coursework needed for the transfer institution’s core curriculum, college of education requirements, and/or state certification requirements. The courses offered in the Education program have a high probability for transfer and meet the core requirements for an associate’s degree from North Idaho College.
