Workshop Series Leader: Angela Bonilla Rasmussen, Director of Teaching and Learning at Spokane Community College
Many students struggle with the hidden agenda or unwritten rules of completing college work. The goal of Transparency in Teaching and Learning (TILT) is communicating with students the why, the what, and the how of learning, ensuring that all students have the necessary tools for success.
The series is a set of four sessions offered for all NIC Faculty. You may attend any or all sessions. The workshops are free, and a light lunch is included.
Adjunct compensation or TLC PDU hours will be offered for hours in attendance and up to two hours of your time in implementing the ideas presented. If you are interested and eligible for either form of compensation: There will also be a short exit survey/assignment to complete after Session 4; Also, if you attend via Zoom, log in using your first and last name so I can record attendance.
