Anusara Yoga
This Anusara yoga class will teach you the universal principles of alignment that will help you understand how to better align your body, heart and mind. Anusara means "flowing with grace" and "following your heart.” This class is about finding your center and is designed for yogis of all levels.
Meditation
Through guided imagery, you can learn how to use your imagination to "create the state you want,” meaning that you can actually change how you are feeling by changing your focus. Guided imagery can have many health-related physical and emotional benefits. You can use this class to feel less nervous or upset, reduce any pain you may be feeling or help you relax and de-stress.
Employee Meditation

NIC employees can use this class to feel less nervous or upset, help reduce any pain you may be feeling, or use the guided imagery to help you relax and de-stress.
Group Strength
This barbell and bench workout strengthens your entire body using exercises like presses, curls and squats. Your choice of weight allows you to customize your workout to reach your fitness goals!
Spin and Lift
Spin and Lift is a fun, high-energy class that combines a great cardio workout from cycling and building strength with resistance training. The class will go through circuits on and off the bike, using bodyweight, dumbbells, barbells and more! Water bottle, mat, and sweat towel recommended.
Group Fitness classes are free and open to all NIC staff and faculty, as well as student members of the Student Wellness and Recreation Center.
Non-members can purchase single-class passes or punch passes at the front desk.

General Public has access to the facility for their scheduled class time only. Access for classes begins 15 minutes before class and ends 10 minutes after class has begun.
Group Fitness class registration requires a current Student Wellness and Recreation Center membership or NIC employment status.
You can register online or visit the front desk at the Student Wellness and Recreation Center to sign up.
Log in and find Cardinal Account Information to sign in with your NIC credentials. Scroll down to “Group Fitness” and choose the class, date and time to register.
