Biography:
I am originally from Coeur d’ Alene. I graduated from CDA High School in 1979 and attended NIC from 1979 to 1981. I joined the US Air Force in early 1982 as Human Resources (HR) Specialist and had assignments at Fairchild AFB near Spokane and at Iowa State University in Ames, IA (AFROTC Staff). I completed an AAS and BS degree at night school while on active duty in the 1980’s.
I left the Air Force in 1990 after serving eight years. I then spent from 1990 to 2015 working in several well-funded startup businesses primarily in the marketing and finance sectors in Seattle, WA. I also earned an MA in Organizational Management while in Seattle.
I left the private sector in 2015 and began teaching business at Edmonds Community College just north of Seattle. In the summer of 2019, I had the tremendous opportunity to come work at NIC and move back to CDA after over 38 years away. I’m very excited to be home after all these years. NIC is a gem and I have the best job in the world!
