Renee E D'Aoust teaches online at North Idaho College and Casper College. At North Idaho College, D'Aoust teaches the following: Creative Nonfiction, ENGL 293; ENGL 102; and ENGL 101. She also serves as an online consultant in NIC's fantastic Writing Center.
Renée E. D’Aoust’s creative nonfiction book is Body of Dancer (Etruscan Press). She has numerous publications and awards to her credit, including a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts Journalism Institute for Dance Criticism at American Dance Festival and grants from the Idaho Commission on the Arts. D’Aoust has twice volunteered as a “Writer to Writer” mentor for The Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP) and for several years, she was the volunteer Managing Editor of "Assay: A Journal of Creative Nonfiction Studies," which included curating their "In the Classroom" series. From 2009-2022, D’Aoust volunteered as an Idaho Master Forest Steward.
