Biography:

I grew up in the Great Pacific Northwest. I went into the Navy after high school and while on active duty I received my Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Regents College.

I loved technology in high school, so my interest was in electronics and submarines as I entered the U. S. Navy. I was a submarine SONAR technician my first four years in the Navy. After I completed my first tour of duty I went to dive school and spent the next eighteen years working as a Navy Diver. I was fortunate to be stationed in really nice locations and worked with “cutting edge” technology. Overall I enjoyed my naval service and the travel I was afforded while in the Navy.

After leaving the Navy my interest in technology drew me into computer networking and training. I have been working in Information Technology, technology training and education ever since. I hold a Master of Arts in Information Technology Management from Webster University, a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with and emphasis in Career Technical Education (CTE) from the University of Idaho along with several IT industry certifications.
