The Adjunct Faculty Committee is a permanent part of the Faculty Assembly. The head of the committee is the Adjunct Faculty Representative, who is appointed each year by the Faculty Assembly Executive Committee and is a member of that governing body.
The Adjunct Faculty Committee members are volunteers and receive no compensation for participation in committee meetings or activities. There are no special requirements to participate.
The committee seeks to provide a voice and advocate for the diverse adjunct faculty at North Idaho College who may not always be able to attend Faculty Assembly meetings, division, or department meetings. Additionally, the committee aims to provide information, assistance, and a place to voice concerns, express opinions, and provide input regarding policies, procedures, and other institutional actions that may impact adjunct faculty.
The committee meets monthly via Zoom.
For more information about participating in the committee or take part in the next meeting, contact the Adjunct Faculty Representative.
