Am I eligible?
You must reside within one of the five northern counties of Idaho and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Receiving Public Assistant (SNAP or SSI)
- Foster care child
- Experiencing homelessness (lacking fixed, regular, and adequate housing)
- Living at or below the current Federal Poverty Guidelines (see below)

Everyone is encouraged to apply regardless of income. A limited number of over income spots are available.
How do I apply?
Complete a Head Start interest form and a Family Advocate from the center located nearest your home will contact you to start an application for enrollment in North Idaho College Head Start.
