North Idaho College recently launched “NIC Amped!” a podcast about everything that makes NIC interesting, engaging and unique.
The show is recorded and hosted by Coeur d’Alene’s very own podcaster extraordinaire, Tyler Sea of The Community Experiment.
“I'm excited about ‘NIC Amped!’” Sea said. “I believe the podcast is a great opportunity for the college to share its vision with the community, and also a chance for community members to get to know NIC.”
The first episode, “Entrepreneurship and the Entrepreneurial Mindset,” features a discussion about how and why entrepreneurship is an important part of the student experience at NIC. Guests for Episode 1 are NIC President Rick MacLennan, Director of Regional Entrepreneurial Strategy Ryan Arnold and Associate Professor of Education, Assistant Dean of General Studies Gail Ballard.
New episodes will be released the first week of each month.
“NIC Amped!” is a project designed to enhance the exchange of ideas and information while building relationships across the communities the college serves on- and off-campus throughout North Idaho. It is produced by the college’s Communications and Marketing team.
