North Idaho College and Treasure Valley Community College basketball coaches will participate in the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 1. The women's game will begin at 2 p.m. and the men's game at 4 p.m.
Coaches will be wearing sneakers with their suits/dress attire in solidarity with a nationwide effort to raise awareness and to encourage people to educate themselves on the importance of prevention, screening and early detection of cancer.
North Idaho College will be accepting donations throughout both games. All proceeds will go to Kootenai Clinic Cancer Services. Only cash and check donations can be accepted. Checks can be made out to Kootenai Clinic Cancer Services.
