The North Idaho College Student Art Exhibition opened April 13 in the Boswell Hall Corner Gallery on the college’s main campus in Coeur d’Alene.
The exhibition will be available for viewing through May 7, and it will feature a variety of original works of fine art created by NIC students. There will also be large pieces of student art located throughout Boswell Hall. The exhibition will be adjudicated by Dean Davis.
“It’s impressive that these students were able to continue to create art and exhibit their hard work in spite of the pandemic,” said NIC Art Professor Mike Horswill. “Art and creativity endure regardless of life’s challenges.”
The Corner Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fridays. Admission to the gallery is free.
Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, there will not be a public reception for this exhibition. The gallery follows all North Idaho College COVID-19 safety protocols, requiring cloth facial coverings and physical distancing of 6 feet.
