Jazz Ambassadors of the U.S. Army Field Band to perform at NIC March 12

North Idaho College will host a concert featuring the Jazz Ambassadors of the U.S. Army Field Band at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12 at the Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center on NIC’s Coeur d’Alene campus.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The Jazz Ambassadors of the U.S. Army Field Band is the official touring big band of the United States Army. Formed in 1969, the 19-member ensemble travels throughout the U.S. and abroad performing music to entertain all types of audiences.
The band plays a variety of music including big band swing, Latin, contemporary jazz, popular tunes, patriotic selections and more. Many of the pieces are written or arranged by members of the band.
