NIC’s annual Rathdrum Rumble car show returns Sept. 27
Posted: Thursday, Sep 4, 2025

The fall tradition of hot rods, food trucks and community fun will roll into Rathdrum again in NIC’s fourth annual Rathdrum Rumble.
The show is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at NIC’s Parker Technical Education Center at 7064 W. Lancaster Road in Rathdrum.
The event is free to attend and open to the public. There will be food trucks onsite to purchase from.
Vehicles are $20 to register online and $30 for same-day registration. Categories include hot rod/modified, young builder, classic car, truck, import and motorcycle. Last year’s show featured about 200 vehicles.
North Idaho College's Autobody and Paint Technology program started the car show four years ago and uses the funds from the event to help send students to regional and national SkillsUSA competitions.
“Each year this show seems to get bigger and better,” Assistant Autobody and Paint Technology Professor Andy Rogge said. “It’s always fun to see some of the really impressive vehicles people in the area work on.”
There will also be hosted tours of the Parker Technical Education Center for those interested in learning more about its programs.
