Initial Determination of Residency Status

Residency status is based on information provided on the NIC Application for Admissions.  Filling out this application accurately and completely will ensure you are charged the correct tuition rate for your classes.

Your residency status is included in the email you receive after your NIC admission application has been processed.

How do I change my Residency Status?

Visit Idaho Residency for Tuition Purposes to learn residency and redetermination requirements. It is your responsibility to initiate any request for a change in residency status. Updating an address on a student record does not update residency for tuition purposes.
