What is Peer Tutoring?
Peer tutoring is academic assistance for students having difficulty in a specific course. It is administered by other students – your peers – who have already successfully completed that course. Our goal is to help you develop the skills necessary to become confident and independent learners. Peer tutors meet one-on-one with participants for up to two hours per week, per subject.
How to apply for Peer Tutoring
Only active participants in NIC’s TRIO Student Support Services Program are eligible for our one-on-one tutoring services. Please visit our office or speak to your TRIO Advisor to request peer tutoring.
