Welcome to our new and returning Cardinals!

Week of Welcome (WoW) is all about you. Each year we offer a week of free events to celebrate the start of the new academic year! Come and join in on the fun, meet new people and start your future. Event locations can be found on our Campus Map.

Monday, Aug. 18

Free Snow Cones/Student Government Meet and Greet

  • 11 a.m-1 p.m., outside Edminster Student Union Building

Tuesday, Aug. 19

Glow Tag

  • 8:45 p.m. to 11 p.m., outside Edminster Student Union Building

Wednesday, Aug. 20

Day of Welcome Resource Fair with Free Lunch

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Edminster Student Union Dining Room

Calling All Cardinals Group Photo

  • noon, outside Edminster Student Union Building

Party at the SWRC

  • 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Student Wellness and Recreation Center

Situational Awareness and Self Defense Training

Cardinal Beach Day with Free Rentals

Saturday, Aug. 23

Color Fun Run (5 kilometers)

  • 1 p.m., Coeur d’Alene campus (Registration starts at 10 a.m. Receive T-shirt, sunglasses and bandana; eligible participants will be entered into drawing to win NIC scholarships.)

Tuesday, Aug. 26

Parker Day of Welcome Resource Fair with Free Lunch

  • 11 a.m.  to 12:30 p.m., Parker Technical Education Center, Rathdrum
