North Idaho College is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), and is reporting this information in compliance with Standard 2.G.3. The Idaho Transportation Department’s Division of Motor Vehicles is the licensing agency for the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program.
This program is designed to meet the educational requirements for Commercial Driver’s License students in Idaho. If you intend to seek licensure outside of Idaho after finishing your program, use the list below to find information on the state or U.S. territory in which you intend to be licensed in order to identify whether NIC’s Commercial Driver’s License program, does not meet, or if it has not been determined if it meets the educational requirements for licensure. If NIC’s program has not determined if it meets the educational requirements for licensure in the state in question, it may meet all or a portion of the educational requirements. If that is the case, we recommend that you contact the licensing agency directly before beginning the NIC program.
