AR-15 Armorer

Whether you are a novice or a seasoned gun owner, this comprehensive course will empower you to become a masterful AR-15 Armorer. This 32-hour AR-15 Armorer course is spread across one month. This curriculum is designed to cover the fundamentals of AR-15 assembly, disassembly, maintenance and troubleshooting, and customization. Each week consists of hands-on instruction, demonstrations, and practical exercises.

  • Students must be 18 years old or older and provide proof of age with a photo ID on the first day of class.
  • The AR-15 Armorer's course takes place in person at the North Idaho College Workforce Training Center in Post Falls, ID.
  • All tools and required materials will be provided for this class.
  • Students are encouraged to bring their own tools but loaner tool sets will be available to students who don’t have the required tools.

Shotgun Armorer 101

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned gun owner, this comprehensive course will give you the skills to tackle gun issues as a Shotgun Armorer. This 18-hour Shotgun Armorer's course is designed to cover the fundamentals of pump, single shot, and semi-automatic shotgun assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Each week consists of hands-on instruction, demonstrations, and practical exercises.

  • Age Requirement: Students must be 18 or older and provide proof of age with a photo ID on the first day of class.
  • In-Person, Sandpoint, ID Class: The Shotgun Armorer's course takes place in person at the North Idaho College Sandpoint Annex in Sandpoint, ID.
  • All tools and required materials will be provided for this class.
  • Feel free to bring your own tools if you have them, or you can check out a loaner set from us at no cost.
