The NIC Workforce Training Center offers a federally and state-approved Related Instruction (RI) program for Logging Equipment Operator Apprentices. This program provides the 144 hours of instruction required annually by the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL), in a front-loaded RI plan. This apprenticeship is two to three years in length.
Classes run five days a week in June, and 100% attendance for all face-to-face sessions is mandatory.
