Offering on-campus housing from June through August provides students with a convenient option for academics while they engage in various summer activities and commitments.
NIC's campus on Lake Coeur d'Alene offers many opportunities for outdoor recreation such as swimming, renting paddleboards, and walking to downtown Cd'A. This setting not only provides a beautiful backdrop but also provides extra opportunities for students looking to continue their education over the summer.

How to Apply
Applications for summer housing are open from Feb. 20 until all rooms are full. The NIC dorms have a limited amount of occupants and it is recommended to apply as early as possible. For more information, contact Cardinal Central at (208) 769-3311 or cardinalcentral@nic.edu.
-AnthonySummer housing is super chill and much quieter than when school is in session. There is sadly no food from the SUB but there are always things to do. One can play at the beach or get student discounts through The Beach Shack. Thankfully,the gym is open, though limited, and comes in handy quite often.

Student Wellness and Rec Center
Our Student Wellness and Recreation Center includes a climbing wall, fitness classrooms, weight and cardio areas, gymnasium, multi-purpose room, elevated track, locker rooms and an administration suite.
Food Truck
Food Prepared by the NIC Culinary Arts Students
The NIC Culinary Arts program provides students with entry-level skills in the food service in the summer with their Food Truck location at Sunspot at Ya-Keehn-Um Beach.
