Our Driver's Education course includes the following:

• Online Instruction: 30 hours of self-paced online content.
• Orientation:
  • One to two hours.
  • in-person format.
  • 5 p.m. on the Wednesday of the week your class starts.
  • Location - The NIC Workforce Training Center in Post Falls
• Skills Training:
  • In-person format.
  • 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction and 6 hours of observation instruction time with a licensed instructor.
  • Instruction times are available Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Students can train for two hours maximum per day.

Post-Completion:

• Complete 50 hours of additional supervised driving with an adult.
• Take the state's written and skills tests.
