Cardinal Cash is a prepaid, declining balance account similar to a debit card that you can add to your Cardinal Card. You must have a valid Cardinal Card to sign up for Cardinal Cash.
The Cardinal Cash program allows you flexible spending options on campus for bookstore purchases, printing and dining services.
Cardinal Cash can be used by students and employees.
Cardinal Cash may be added to your Cardinal Card through OneWeb or on your MyNIC. A minimum deposit of $20 is required.
Get Funds allows you to check your balance, view your transaction history, add Cardinal Cash and even request funds from family or friends. Once a Get Funds account is made, others can add Cardinal Cash to your Cardinal Card using the link for parents and guardians on the Get Funds page.
Cardholders understand that Cardinal Cash is non-transferrable and agrees to abide by all rules, regulations, policies and procedures specified by NIC.
You can use your Cardinal Cash for printing services across campus and for purchases at the Cardinal Bookstore, The Market. Caffeinated Cardinal and Cardinal Central.
Cardinal Cash cannot be used for cash withdrawals.
Cardinal Card holders who have withdrawn or graduated from NIC or who are no longer employed by NIC may apply for a refund of Cardinal Cash. The balance of your account minus a $10 fee will be mailed via check to your listed address. There are no refunds if your Cardinal Cash balance is less than or equal to $10.
